TAFE Outreach programs are closely aligned to the Federal Social Inclusion Agenda ensuring NSW education is accessible to people who face barriers to learning including geographical and social isolation, language and cultural factors, financial hardship, lack of educational confidence, being unaware of opportunities to learn, a disability or family commitments.

Participants

PLACE targets people who are homeless and those at risk of homelessness. This includes people sleeping rough, living in crisis accommodation and boarding houses, those with disabilities and people who have exited from and/or are at risk of re-entering the criminal justice system.
Participants may have chronic drug and alcohol issues, they could be youth at risk or women living in supported accommodation and/or at risk of domestic violence. The socially isolated, social housing residents, refugees and newly arrived CALD community and people accessing tenancy and housing support services or facing housing stress are welcome.
